    • Tour guides we recommend
There are some very DODGY tour guides in the world.. And there are some simply AMAZING ones. This is a list of some that we recommend. In the interest of privacy we are not putting their contact details here, but please feel free to contact us and we will more than happily put you in touch!

MONGOLIA

In a country where the only way to get around is to take a tour, we were extremely lucky to have an absolutely amazing tour-guide. Knowledgeable, passionate, humble, funny and just awesome, Manal and his lovely English-speaking wife Bogi made our trip a simply unforgettable journey.
When we travelled with Manal it was through a guesthouse in UB, but they have now gone freelance and can either tailor-make your journey to suit your needs, or just go with the flow and more from place to place as you feel like it. They are simply amazing and are highly highly recommended.

MULU National Park, BORNEO - SARAWAK

The only way to visit the beautiful Gunung Mulu National Park is by tour. Without a tour-guide registered with the national park, you simply cannot enter.
Most people, not knowing who to go with, and with there really, not being much information about non-national park guides out there, opt to go through the park. We did too and had a terrible guide, but we were also lucky enough to meet Henry - a simply amazing guide.
Henry is Penan and is passionate about his people, his culture and the jungle, where his people traditionally live.
