Trust me, this is sooo much better than it looks!
Kinokodon means "mushroom bowl" in Japanese and it's super easy to make.
Mushrooms (any kind) sliced
1 onion sliced
2 cloves garlic sliced or crushed
handful of shallots or leek
nuttlex (or butter)
1 egg (optional)
- stirfry mushrooms with onion, garlic and leek in Nuttlex or butter
- when mushrooms are cooked, add a dash more Nuttlex for sauce (if dry) then add a dash of soy sauce
- before butter/soy liquid evaporates crack an egg over top and stir through until the egg has solidified.
- serve over fresh rice with salt or pepper
